Carly is an FA Tesco Skills coach with the Birmingham team.
Carly has been a mainstay of Aston Villa Football Club since she was 15, representing Aston Villa Ladies and coaching on soccer schools and after school clubs. This led to a full time role as a community football coach in Birmingham and managing the Under 12 and Under 14 teams at the Aston Villa Girls Centre of Excellence.
Carly has also spent two summers coaching in the USA at summer camps up and down the West coast of America.
Carly is a qualified coach and has completed the FA Youth Award.
What’s your proudest moment in football?
“I would probably have to say my first senior season as a player with Aston Villa, when just making the senior squad was an achievement before we won promotion to The FA Premier League and reached the quarter finals of The FA Women’s Cup.”
